Before deploying all of their meters, Modesto Irrigation District has tested a sampling of their network equipped meters using a custom built board. They are able to put a load on the meter and have an indicator light so they can verify the disconnect is working. General Pacific and Itron are providing their newest CENTRON meter for testing. I suspect we'll see the Itron meter occupying spaces on the meter board shortly.
